I've been working on some new garden art for the upcoming Phoenix Botanical Gardens Show on March 16, 17-18th (16th only if your a member) and since it's like Spring time over here and glorious weather I figured what better subject than Spring Flowers. I've got old barbed wire, wooden hearts and cut leaves to make any garden more inviting.
As with any new thing I make I'm always trying to figure out how I'm gonna display these crazy things. Most everything i do is recycling so I scoured the wood pile and found what hopefully will work as a stand for these crazy daisies. It all painted and ready for the show and didn't cost me a dime.
So, do come down and say HELLO if you're in the Phoenix area and if you're looking for beautiful plants that's the place to be.

You are amazing! But I'll bet you already knew that. I'll definitely be back for more when it's not so late. It's easy to get on the internet and let time slip away for you. This old lady better hit the sack. your new fan, Connie
SZQ - One of these days we will make it over to your part of the country. But in the mean time from A distance I admire that you come up with happiness creating functional and decorative art. I hope you sell a pick-up load. Go well. B
I just Love all of your Creations! Thanks for stopping by for a visit... alas, even if you lifted your welding helmet you might miss some of these Events because I usually find out about them quite by accident or seredipity, I don't feel they advertise them nearly well enough to make the best of the venues and assure that everyone hears about it! There is a Jazz Festival coming up either this Month or in April in Downtown Glendale and when I find out the exact Date I will let you know. I just renewed my Desert Botanical Garden Membership... at least they always inform me in advance of their Events.

WICKED!!! they look like windmills :) i was just thinking ... you should do an installation of a metal-junk garden!! that would be SO fricken cool!! get a place in a flower show or something like that ... and when others assemble their garden out of plants, you assemble yours out of junk!! KEEEEEWL!!!
